Heavy cotton canvas that breaks in, not down
A dense cotton canvas with a dry, slightly stiff hand that softens over the first few wears without going floppy. It holds its shape through the wash and comes out of the dryer ready to work, not wrinkled into a rag.

Six pockets in total: two deep cargo pockets on the thighs with flap-and-button closures, two front slash pockets, and two rear pockets. The cargo pockets swallow a phone, gloves and a folding tool without bulging.
Seams that hold under load
Double-stitched seams run the length of the legs, with bar-tacks at the pocket mouths, belt loops and crotch — the four points that split first on cheap work trousers.
A waistband that stays put
A metal button and YKK-style zip close the front, with five wide belt loops on a doubled waistband that keeps a loaded belt from rolling or sagging through the day.
